PaddleTap’s #1 boat tour! For the people who like to take it easy on the lake! Our LazyTap Party Boat ride has your name written all over it. This is our only double deck party boat that is massive! PaddleTap offers one boat for 2025, so don't wait to book! This boat can hold up to 18 guests!

Both boats offers two levels and covers at least 300 of deck space on the main level with an additional 100 square feet on the upper deck! This boat has zero pedals and is the true lazy experience that can hold up to 18 total guests!

These boats offer a private party bar down the middle for you to load up with your own drinks and bench seating all the way down on both sides.

We have a large wide open space in the front where people can move around and take in the views, or sit in our comfy seating all around.

The LazyTap has a large 150 HSP motor, we can cover a fair amount of lake to enjoy everything that Lake Minnetonka offers! Our pickups are out of Back Channel Brewing, Lord Fletchers, Downtown Excelsior or Wayzata

Frequently asked questions

Is swimming allowed?

No, not this year. We use to allow swimming but are not offering it in 2025 due to some bad groups not behaving. We apologize.

Is a bathroom on board?

Yes! This boat has a bathroom on board.

Does this bar hop?

Not normally. If the lake isn't that busy you may ask the captain if you can stop somewhere for a drink. But most of the time everyone wants to spend as much time on the water as possible.

How many people to reserve a private cruise?

We require 10 tickets to be purchased for a private tour. You can add additional tickets up to the day of your cruise for a per person rate. You are still welcome to book private if you have less than 10 guests, but you would pay the difference.

Beverages and Food

Bring your own drinks and food on most of our tours! We do prefer no glass. Grab some snacks, and load up for 100 minutes in the sun.

Participants

No minimum amount of guests, reserve 10 tickets to get a private tour, and add additional tickets up to the boat maximum if you have more people. Any age can participate here, but must be 21 plus to consume any alcohol.

Swimming is allowed on this boat, but only 4 people at a time in the water at anytime (must wear a life jacket).

Cancelation Policy

30 Days out of tour date full refund. Under 30 days from tour all sales final. PaddleTap goes rain or shine, but can cancel tours day of if its "unsafe" boating conditions determined day of by PaddleTap staff.

So much fun! I didn’t read the fine print of “the lazy tap” so we got on the boat and realized there were no pedals. I was kind of hoping for pedals because I just think it’s fun, but I gotta read the details! Our boat had a top deck so we sat up there and watched the sunset while drinking some beers which was great. You can only have 6 people up there at a time though so don’t imagine your whole party up there. Overall it was a really fun pontoon ride and I would go again.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a group activity you look towards Paddletap. We booked the LazyTap for a bachelor party and had around 14 guests. Plenty of space for all the guests to mingle and relax. The Bluetooth speakers worked great and our captain was a great guy! Would definitely look to book again at some point
